ULTRA-1 Professional contains transparent iron oxide pigments that assure high durability and excellent transparency. Since the pigment loading in LIFELINE ULTRA-1 Professional is much higher than other transparent stains, it requires the knowledge and experience of a professional experienced in applying water-based transparent stains.
ULTRA-1 Professional and Advance Gloss and Satin Topcoats are water-based so they are recognized by environmental organizations as being truly “green” since they have minimum impact on the ecosystem. And since clean-up requires only soap and water, they do not contribute any toxicants or pollutants to our surroundings.
If the surface of the wood had been media blasted, the use of Prelude™ Clear Wood Primer prior to the application of ULTRA-1 Professional is necessary to prevent over absorption of the stain and provide a uniform color over the entire wall.

Like all Lifeline finishes, Lifeline Advance is waterborne, environmentally friendly and easy to clean up with soap and water. It breathes to allow moisture within logs to evaporate, while controlling the evaporation rate to reduce checking. When you apply Lifeline Advance over your exterior stain, you increase the UV inhibitors, add water repellency and add additional mildew inhibitors to your exterior finish system.
Lifeline Advance also makes your exterior walls resistant to unsightly dust and dirt. When it is time to clean, Lifeline Advance makes your walls easier to clean, especially when using Log Wash cleaner for an annual cleaning.
Lifeline Advance is available in two different finishes. Lifeline Advance Satin dries to a flat or satin finish, depending on your application. If you prefer a flat appearance, then use just one coat of Satin. If you prefer a satin appearance, then use two coats of Lifeline Advance Satin.
Lifeline Advance Gloss dries to a glossier finish, depending on your application. If you desire a semi-gloss appearance, then apply one coat of Lifeline Advance Gloss.
